Doctors Receive Training to Handle Emergency Medicine

Apollo Hospital and the Royal College of Emergency Medicine, UK held a certification ceremony for doctors who completed their training in emergency medicine in India. Doctors working in emergency departments of Apollo hospitals in Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, and Navi Mumbai are trained in a clinical and academic program for 1 year known as Emergency Medicine Foundation Program. 

EMFP trainees and supervisors can record and complete skills on the online NHS portfolio with RCEM oversight. The NHS portfolio is a permanent record of the training. Dr. Katherine Henderson stated that the program gives you clinical and professional skills and helps in delivering a high standard of care. These kind of structured programs polish the best in a health care professional. During the pandemic, emergency staff all over the globe rose to the challenge of providing the best possible care incredibly.
